Project Overview

The Gulf Partnership Outreach is a project run by Arab Christians in European tourist destinations. Their goal is to discuss spirituality with visitors specifically from the Arabian Peninsula who are vacationing in Europe which can be more religiously open than their home countries.

My team created the branding for this project’s networking and fundraising. Our initial concept featured fabric flowing through an open ring to represent travel and the window of opportunity in this moment of religious freedom. From client feedback, we shifted focus to the ring concept as our clients connected to the representation of a window of opportunity as well as the ring being symbolic of cords in a fabric headdress commonly worn in the Arab Gulf. The process gave us valuable studio photography experience and informed our communication and end result with the clients.
